The interior of Tenkatsu, which was established in 1866, is full of traditional Japanese accents. As you enter the restaurant you will be greeted by a gigantic tank with about 10 different kinds of fish from the Setouchi region swimming about, including sea bream, horse mackerel, and conger eel. You can sit at the counter that runs around the perimeter of the tank to enjoying your meal and drinks while gazing at the fish, the varieties of which change with the seasons (reservations are recommended for counter seats).
The restaurant is staffed with highly skilled chefs. Fish are scooped from the tank after each order is received, and these are served as sashimi, tempura, and so on in a beautiful manner that places emphasis on reflecting the season and bringing color to your table. Immerse yourself in food and famous saké from Shikoku and all around Japan. (This information is as of September 2019)
