The owner of this Japanese-style bar in Shiroshita in Okayama welcomes you dressed in traditional Japanese clothing. The cocktails of this bar, made with seasonal fruits and overflowing with originality, have a good reputation. You can head here after dinner, but since this bar is open from 12 p.m., you can also enjoy a tasty drink here as a break from walking around. The Jewel Box (1000 yen), is especially well liked by the bar’s female customers. As a wine-based cocktail made using five different types of fruit, it’s easy to drink even for those not good with alcohol, making it popular. When ordering, you can easily talk to the bartender, who will recommend drinks for you if you tell him your preferences – maybe “something sweet with oranges,” or “something with a sake base.”
The bar’s table charge (500 yen) also includes an original confection made by the patisserie. Its subtle yet brilliant flavor goes perfectly with the alcohol, and will relieve the tiredness of travel.(This information is as of June 2019)
