This refined café-gallery and design store is run by a design company. The food served in the café is a gentle cuisine made with lots of seasonal vegetables, arranged on artisan tableware. When the weather is good, refresh yourself on the terrace seating, where, depending on your seat, you can see Okayama Castle. All of the comfortably-arranged furniture in the bare-concrete interior is original, and visitors can purchase pieces that they particularly like. The shop offers a selection of a national standard, including miscellaneous goods for interiors, mainly original leather goods and pieces used in the café. You can also buy Okayama’s specialty kibidango (sweet millet dumplings), or items based on the children’s tale “Momotaro,” which originated in Okayama, making this a good place for souvenirs.
