The traditional Hokancho Shopping street is located close to JR Okayama Station. The charming Armadillo signboard draws the eye here, to the talked-about beer brewery and pub. The beer here is carefully brewed for easy drinking, keeping in mind the wish for women on their own to casually visit. For example, their Belgian White for 550 yen carries an aroma created with orange peels, with less bitterness, and you can taste a perfect bitterness spreading within the caramel-like sweetness of their Amber Ale for 550 yen. Different types of beer are served depending on the time, and it is a pleasure to visit no matter what taste you may meet.
The store’s creator is involved in the popular interior and variety store Axcis. The interior of the pub is decorated with antiques, keeping in mind the image of a barn in the French countryside, and everything here exudes that world-view.
