The bar is stocked with labels the owners have tried and tested during visits to wineries.
A specialist wine bar operated by an owner who has worked in wine shops, and his wife who has studied winemaking in Japan and overseas. In addition to a handpicked selection of wines from Austria, New Zealand and other countries around the world, the bar is also well stocked with rare bottles bought from Japanese wineries the couple have visited. Those new to wine will be just as comfortable here, as this friendly and approachable couple are delighted to share their knowledge. Enjoy cheese and homemade tapas during your tasting. Five or six wines each day are available as a selection of “Daily Glass Wines” from 880 yen.
The owner is a conoisseur of European cheeses and offers a sample of three varieties as the “Cheese Platter” (1,650 yen).
The “Baked Potato Salad” is made with homemade bacon and the sweetest potatoes (660 yen).
The wine cellar behind the bar holds some 150 wines.
Rare Japanese labels from the Takeda Winery in Yamagata, the 10R Winery in Hokkaido and others are also available by the glass on occasion.
