Enjoy a special night over tapas that go perfectly with Japanese sake and handmade soba noodles
Near Takamatsu Marugamemachi Shopping Street is a 50 year-old traditional Japanese style house renovated into a space dedicated to the enjoyment of handmade soba noodles, cuisine made from local vegetables and fresh fish, and sake. The nihachi soba noodles from the Edo period (ancient Tokyo) uses the best buckwheat flour for an authentic, smooth finish and aroma. The plates display the best of Shikoku ingredients, ranging from tsukune meatballs made from Kochi Prefecture’s famed Tosa duck to beef tataki using Tokushima Prefecture’s Waichi wagyu steak. These are an ideal match for the sake and shochu liquor. The shochu-soba broth cocktail is also delicious. Recommended here is the Ninki Banzuke Course for two, which needs no booking and costs 6,000 yen.(This information is as of October 2019)
The “Mori Soba” is 850 yen. Try the unique Japanese culture of “noodle sipping”.
The Assorted Seasonal Tempura set costs 1,080 yen featuring shrimp, squid and aubergine.
The Beef Tongue Cedar board Grill costs 1,100 yen and brings the aroma of fragrant wood to your table.
Soba noodles made fresh daily
