A used bookstore and café with counter seats run by a married couple who also operate a guesthouse in Tamano City, a port city facing the Seto Inland Sea. A wide range of books, from travel-related books to Western books, are lined up, and you can enjoy reading with a cup of coffee or chai at the counter made of recycled wood. The taiyaki, a popular Japanese snack, are also popular at the café. They are made by sandwiching sweet red bean paste in rice flour batter shaped like a sea bream (tai in Japanese), and are also available for take out. In the evening, craft beers from the Setouchi area and à la carte dishes are available. The couple, who have traveled around the world, aim to create a place where locals and tourists can meet. The event space hosts events where tourists who stay at the guesthouse can interact with locals, as well as workshops for experiencing foreign cultures.(This information is as of December 2020)
